Grey

I believe in grey
Because I am not white
I am not black either
People see the world in wrong and right
And I know I am neither
I believe in grey
Because the dark world needs to see the light
But some of them are too sharp for all our eyesights
I believe in grey
Because oh! The stars are not that far
But, what about the fireflies that you have kept ajar
I believe in grey
Because the characters I relate to are not dark ‘ALWAYS’
They might have the villain’s plight
But, they have their own grace
I believe in grey
Because that is what writers do
The world may call you a useless character
But, I will hold your hand
Because, that’s one promise I made to you
I believe in grey
Because there exists you and me
There is both light and dark inside us
Not all of it to be completely seen
I believe in grey
The dawn passes, there is another day
And these words are here to stay
There can’t all be just black and white
Cause there has to be some grey
